Several students from Gorj County were found to have lice! It is about 12 cases that were detected by DSP Gorj, following thorough checks carried out by them.
Representatives of the Gorj Public Health Directorate, after the February holiday, 12 cases of pediculosis were registered at the county level.
“Cases of pediculosis are reported after every holiday. When the children return to the educational institutions, the epidemiological triage is carried out. After the February vacation, more precisely in March, in Gorj county, 12 cases of pediculosis were reported, of which 8 cases in the urban environment and 4 cases in the rural environment.
From the discussions held with the management of the educational unit, there would be only one case of pediculosis, but the epidemiological triage is to be carried out by a doctor appointed by the mayor’s office to supervise the educational unit.
