“The Central Electoral Office for the elections for members of the European Parliament from Romania in 2024 and for local public administration authorities in 2024 (BEC) informs that, on April 29 this year, it found that the candidacies proposed by political parties remained definitive, a political alliance, electoral alliances, an organization of citizens belonging to national minorities, as well as of independent candidates for the elections for members from Romania in the European Parliament on June 9, 2024”, according to a press release.
According to the cited source, the list includes the Electoral Alliance PSD-PNL, the SOS Romania Party, the United Right Alliance USR-PMP-Forza Dreptei, Socialist Romania, the AUR Alliance, the Right Alternative Party, PUSL, the Reinnovation Party of the European Project of RomaniaUDMR, PRM, the Party Patriots and United Diaspora Party, as well as four independents, namely Paula Marilena Pîrvănescu, Vlad Gheorghe, Nicu Ştefănuţă and SIlvestru Şoşoacă.
