A terrifying discovery was made, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, in the town of Grozești, in Mehedinți county. A 34-year-old man was found dead after hanging himself.
The way he chose to make this dramatic gesture shocked the locals. The man, Marian Olaru, from Gorj county, would have tied himself with a strap to the parapet on the side of the road. She wrapped it around her neck and the same strap hooked her to the car.
He took the car out of gear and hanged himself, the local press notes. Several intervention crews arrived in that area. The paramedics tried to save him, but nothing could be done for the 34-year-old man. He was eventually pronounced dead.

“On April 2, at 00:10, the Strehaia Police was notified by a man from Motru municipality, Gorj county, regarding the fact that a person was allegedly hanged next to a car near the radio broadcasting relay in Grozești.
The police went to the scene and, from the checks carried out, determined that a 34-year-old man from Gorj County had hanged himself with a rope.”the police from Mehedinți reported.

“Following the examination of the lifeless body, no traces of violence were found, being transported to the Forensic Medicine Service in order to perform the necropsy and establish the causes of death.
