“Open Gates” at the Arges Gendarmerie

The Argeș County Gendarmerie Inspectorate opened its doors on Tuesday, April 2, for hundreds of children and teachers at the headquarters in Pitești and Câmpulung.

According to a press release of the inspectorate, signed by platoon adjutant Luiza-Maria Ciobănescu, on this occasion, technical stands were set up in both places, with the educational offer, being also presented the newest special vehicles that have entered the equipment of the Argeș Gendarmerie.

In Pitesti, those present at the demonstration could admire a weapons exhibition, made with the support of the National Association of Weapons Collectors, and could test their skills at a shooting workshop with compressed air pistols.

And in Pitesti and Campulung, the four-legged partners and their handlers were admired and applauded for the discipline exercises.

On the same occasion, three students were awarded for the drawings entered in the contest “Gendarmerie seen through the eyes of children”.

The Argeş gendarmes thank all the children and teachers who braved the strong wind to spend together “Romanian Gendarmerie Day” – as stated in the press release.
