Bad news before the start of the new competitive season 2024 – 2025! Four sports televisions will close this summer.

The administrator of the television, Orlando Nicoară, would have already informed his employees through an email that they are about to be fired.

What programs disappear from the grid

According to Paginademedia.ro, the four sports shows that will close this summer are owned by Orange Sport: Orange Sport 1, Orange Sport 2, Orange Sport 3, Orange Sport 4.

Specifically, the Orange Sport televisions are closing. The television administrator, Orlando Nicoară, has already notified your employees about future layoffs.

“In the context of the strategy to simplify the services that Orange offers, the decision was made that the Orange Sport stations will be closed before the start of the new competitive season 2024-2025”, informs the mentioned source.

Sports television came to be owned by Orange, in the spring of 2022, with the takeover of the communications company Telekom România Communications.

Also then it was decided to change the name of the televisions from Telekom Sport to Orange Sport.

Taking into account the professionalism you have shown, we will get involved, where necessary, so that all colleagues affected by this decision receive offers from the market.”
