ISU Bihor A firefighter from Bihor, multiple national bodybuilding champion, organizes a charity sports event for a seriously ill girl in Marghita

Soldat Furcic George, firefighter in the Marghita Fire Department, holder, at only 23 years old, of two national champion titles in bodybuilding and three other vice-champion titles in international profile competitions, organizes, in collaboration with the Association “A chance for everyone”a sporting event charity, for a seriously ill 5-year-old girl.

The son of a military firefighter, George understood, since childhood, that such a profession, dedicated to protecting his fellow men, involves not only professional skills, specific skills and abilities, discipline and self-discipline, but also soul quality, materialized in helping those in suffering, during and outside of duty hours.
George thus chose, “knowingly”, to follow in his father’s footsteps, embracing, in turn, the profession of rescuer, currently being his father’s comrade and part of the Bihor firefighter family, within the Marghita Fire Department, where holds the position of serving firefighter.
Although very young, firefighter George Furcic is appreciated among his colleagues both for his involvement and exemplary way of fulfilling his duties, for the self-discipline and perseverance reflected in the activity carried out and in the sports record he holds, as well as for the altruism he shows , embodied in actions dedicated to those in suffering.
Such a “soul mission” will take place on Saturday, April 6, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., at the “Octavian Goga” Sports Hall in Marghita, where George and the “A chance for all” Association will was organizing a charity event for Noemi, a 5-year-old girl with serious health problems, whose parents, as they confessed, “dream that their daughter will be able to sit on her bottom and take a few steps”.
To raise funds, George mobilized athletes from the “fitness industry” from all over the country, the amount collected so far covers the cost of two therapies, and on Saturday, during the charity event organized for Noemi, he will train, for an hour, the present, after which he will provide them with information about a healthy diet.
The next charity project in which he is involved, dedicated to the collection of funds for three children (Noemi, Maria and Cosmin), will take place on Sunday, April 7 this year, from 5:00 p.m., at the Marghita House of Culture. During the event, to which as many children as possible are invited, George will engage the little ones in sports games, teaching them, through fun activities, to value sport and its benefits.
