The traffic police continue to reveal situations in which some Botošan residents break the law knowingly. On Monday, for example, in the commune of Răchiți, an 18-year-old man was stopped for control by the policemen from the Rural Police Station no. 1. Further checks revealed that he was driving a car without a license for any category of motor vehicle.
In a separate incident, in the commune of Cândêști, on DN 29C, the policemen from the Rural Police Station no. 5 Mihăileni identified another driver, aged 37, who was behind the wheel without holding a driver’s license.
Another case was registered in the Coțușca commune, where the policemen from the Rural Police Station no. 7 Darabani stopped for control, on DJ 293, a 67-year-old man, who was driving a car. Testing with the breathalyzer revealed a value of 0.76 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air, and the man was transported to the hospital in order to establish the exact blood alcohol level.
In all situations, the drivers have chosen criminal cases and risk being sent to court, once the investigations are completed.
