A 39-year-old man put his 10-year-old son’s life in danger after he got on a scooter drunk and without a driver’s license. The man did not secure himself properly and crashed violently into a car. The child, who was with his father on the moped, was transported to the hospital by a SMURD helicopter.

During the day of April 1st, at 15.50, the policemen of Section no. 12 of the Daneti Rural Police were alerted to the occurrence of a road event on the Main street, in the Daneti commune.

The police immediately went to the scene, and found that a 39-year-old man from Dobrotești commune, while driving an unregistered or registered moped, at the exit from a fuel distribution station in the commune Daneți, towards the Main street, would not have secured properly when changing the direction of travel, colliding with a car driven by a 33-year-old woman from Daneți commune.

She put her child in danger, driven by the fumes of alcohol

Following the road accident, the man’s son, a 10-year-old minor, a passenger on a moped, required medical attention, being transported by a SMURD helicopter to a medical unit.

The man was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 1.22 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. Also, from the checks carried out, it was determined that he does not have a driver’s license.

In the case, the police have drawn up a criminal file under the aspect of committing the crimes of culpable bodily harm, driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances, driving a vehicle without a driver’s license and putting into circulation or driving an unregistered vehicle, the investigations being continued for establishing the exact circumstances in which the event took place.
