Four traffickers were detained, after being caught in the act while allegedly carrying out operations with psychoactive substances, in Cluj-Napoca.

“The policemen of the Oradea Organized Crime Brigade, together with the prosecutors of DIICOT – Oradea Territorial Service, documented the criminal activity, in two criminal cases, of 4 people investigated for carrying out operations with products knowing that they are likely to have psychoactive effects .”informs the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police

Thus, they were successively caught in flagrante delicto, in the municipality of Cluj-Napoca, while allegedly carrying out operations with psychoactive substances.

In the first criminal case, it emerged from the criminal investigation documents that, on the evening of March 25, 2024, 3 people procured, possessed, handled and sold 600 grams of psychoactive substance (2-CMC), for 21,000 lei.

Also, another 600 grams of psychoactive substance (2-CMC), intended for sale, were discovered on one of the persons.

Regarding another person, investigated in the second criminal case, it was noted that, on March 26, 2024, she was caught red-handed, immediately after allegedly selling 1.5 kilograms of a crystalline substance with the effect psychoactive (2-CMC), with 21,000 lei.

On March 26 and 27, 2024, the prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism – Oradea Territorial Service ordered the detention of four people for 24 hours in two criminal cases.

On March 27, the rights and freedoms judge of the Bihor Court ordered their preventive arrest for 30 days.
