Nicky Simionescu, the young man in a wheelchair who was active in the National Liberal Party but recently switched to the social-democratic camp, held discussions on Thursday with the president of the Gorj County Council, Cosmin Popescu.

Simionescu says that the reason why he does politics is to help the disabled in Gorj.

“Dear friends, today I had the pleasure of talking with Mr. President of the Gorj County Council, Cosmin Popescu. PSD Gorj represents the strongest and most homogeneous political team in our county at the moment. Dear gorjeni, as you well know, the reason why I am in the public space is to bring about a change for the better for my brothers in suffering, people with disabilities, as well as to help the full integration into society of all vulnerable people . I was happy to discover in Mr. Cosmin Popescu a very empathetic man and I am convinced that, together with him and the entire PSD Gorj team, I will be able to implement important projects, to improve the lives of all vulnerable people in Gorj” he said Simionescu.
