“Approves the distribution of the net profit made by the bank, in the amount of 1,719,491,057 RON, resulting after the determination of the profit tax, to the following destinations: the distribution of dividends in the total gross amount of 860,400,000 RON, an amount that corresponds to a gross dividend in the amount of 71,700 RON/share; the distribution of dividends will be carried out according to the methodology proposed by the Directorate in the Report on the proposal for the distribution of the net profit related to the financial year 2023, presented to the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders; the inclusion in the carried forward result of the remaining amount of 859,091,057 RON”, according to the shareholders’ decision published at the Bucharest Stock Exchange, where the bank has several listed bond issues.
Raiffeisen Bank Romania recorded revenues of 3.7 billion lei in 2023, up 16%, and a net profit of 1.7 billion lei, 39% higher than in 2022, according to the financial report published on Thursday at BVB .
The bank’s total assets exceeded the threshold of 70 billion lei, equivalent to a 13% increase, and the balance of net loans reached 40.7 billion lei, 3% more than at the end of 2022, an evolution driven mainly by by the customer segments of legal entities.
“The performance of 2023 is due to the new perspective we bring to the banking industry, but especially to our teams who, day by day, had a 1:1 dialogue with our customers,” says Zdenek Romanek, President and CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Romania.
