PSD mayor of Gorj: He should have taken a picture, because he will never be prefect again

The magistrates of Gorje decided, last week, that the order of the former liberal prefect Iulian Popescu, by which, at the beginning of January, control was ordered at the Gorj County Council is illegal.

The mayor of the Turburea commune, Ion Bîrcă, says that the former representative of the government in the territory should not have ordered checks at the institution led by Cosmin Popescu, who, in his opinion, is “a good leader, with great experience, and does not commit illegalities” .

“This decision is a very good one. You can see the incompetence of the former prefect, a man who should mind his own business. You should not go to control an institution with an extraordinarily good man who does not commit illegalities. He should have taken a picture, because he will never be a prefect again. Very ugly. I see that, even now, in the election campaign he uses vulgar words. He could go and ask Cosmin Popescu for lessons on how to do electoral campaigns. To say what he is able to do, what he did in the position of prefect.

He tried some checks to get his revenge by doing some checks on an institution from which he milked money. Does it seem normal to you? He had contracts. Has he no shame? These are shameful things. Let him mind his own business. The world will no longer vote for the PNL, because they are just people taking pictures with their phones. What he is doing is degrading. A man with a book does not do such things. (…) It is not true what he says. Then, the judges are no longer good either. We don’t have anything good in this county anymore.(…) He is the best. Come on, sir, what the hell! Such a man shouldn’t even be taken into account anymore”, stated Ion Bîrcă.
