The police officers of the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest – Police Department 20 detained a man, aged 38, who is being investigated in a criminal case regarding the commission of two crimes of hitting or other violence.
Practically, on Wednesday, around 1:00 p.m., the 20th Police Department was notified, through the 112 system, by a woman, regarding the fact that, following a harassment in traffic, her husband was punched in the face , by another traffic participant.
Following this incident, the man allegedly got behind the wheel, intending to leave the area, at which point the woman and her husband positioned themselves in front of the car to prevent him from leaving. Next, the aggressor driver started moving, hitting the two with his car.
Following the investigations carried out, the police found the man suspected of committing the reported acts and detained him for 24 hours. Later, house arrest was ordered for 30 days.
The investigations are continued by the 20th Police Department, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the 6th District Court, under the aspect of assault or other violence.
