The representatives of the Alba County Pension House reported on Monday that all the necessary steps have been taken to transfer, by April 30, the necessary sums to CN Poșta Română SA and the commercial banks with which it has concluded agreements for the payment of pension rights.

Thus, all pensioners in the county are to receive their pension related to May 2024 in the following days, before the Easter holidays.

The money will enter the pensioners’ accounts on May 2-3 and through the Romanian Post, the pensions will be delivered until May 3, inclusive, recently declared the Minister of Labor, Simona Bucura-Oprescu.

“Our estimates are that both the Romanian Post Office and the banking institutions will fall within the schedule we agreed, a situation in which all Romanians will receive their pensions before Easter.

The date on which they will receive them on the account is May 2-3, instead of May 12, the date we had in the convention, and the date on which the postal factors will deliver the pensions, up to and including May 3″, said Simona Bucura-Oprescu, quoted by Agerpres.

We remind you that the Government Decision regarding the advance payment of pensions and other rights provided for by special laws, related to the month of May 2024, from the state social insurance budget and from the state budget, was published on Thursday in the Official Gazette.
