“An exceptional evening” (photo)

The World Theater Day was marked in Sibiu on the stage of the Radu Stanca National Theater with an exceptional show – a dialogue between the master and wonderful Florin Piersic, father Constantin Necula and master Constantin Chiriac, the general director of the host theater.

Mayor Astrid Fodor also participated in the event, on which occasion she handed Florin Piersic a diploma of excellence from Sibiu.

“It was an exceptional evening and a memorable meeting between 3 masters in handling the word, each in their own way, the common denominator being the fact that all 3 manage to reach the hearts of those who listen to them with their words. Master Florin Piersic set the bar very high for film and theater actors through a life he dedicated to the joy of the public and passion for this art. What impresses me the most is the naturalness with which he approaches any role, any discussion, and it’s obvious that it comes from his extraordinary nature. In role or not, his personality is unmistakable and unique. People like maestro Florin Piersic are rare and remain in our minds and hearts. I enjoyed the presence of the great actor in Sibiu together with the audience in the small hall, as happens at good events in Sibiu” said Astrid Fodor, mayor of Sibiu.
