Hall of organization at Iasi Polytechnic! Two internationals, left for 12 hours in Bucharest

--

Politehnica Iasi plays tomorrow, from 15:45, in Botoşani, with the local team FC in the second stage of the play-out of the First Football League. The thoughts of the guests related to the match were presented yesterday in a press conference attended by coach Leo Grozavu and footballer Florin Ilie.

The latter stated: “It’s a zero moment for us. A very important match, from which we want to get the most. I prepared the match for two weeks. We also analyzed the opponent, but the important thing is what we will do. We must be brave, intelligent, bring all the points to Iasi. I’m sure we’ll look good. We prepared well, the atmosphere in the group is very good”.

Ştefanovici and Mihai, forgotten in the capital

Grozavu was, again, dissatisfied, the technician referring to two aspects: the way in which the youth internationals Ştefanovici and L. Mihai, who were in Armenia, for Tuesday’s match, from the EC preliminaries, returned to Iasi, as well as , no news, arbitration.

“Our two youth players arrived very late in Iasi, on Wednesday night, after spending 12 hours in Bucharest. Solutions should be found so that the players from the national team come as quickly as possible to the teams that pay them. I think other solutions could be found. It may be our fault” said the technician, who added: “I want an equidistant arbitration, because recently there have been all kinds of problems. It will be a match between two teams from Moldova, there are personal ambitions, they are playing for an important stake, I hope that the difference will be made on the field”.

Grozavu: “It’s not a derby!”

The head of the Iasi technical bank is still haunted by the memory of the last duel in Botoşani, lost by Poli with 1-2. “Derbies are at the top of the championship, the phrase less must be used for relegation. We had two weeks to prepare the game. It was a good two weeks, with concentration, with involvement. We haven’t won away for a long time, any point brings peace. We shouldn’t have lost the last game in Botoşani. We had the game at our disposal, we dominated it, we prevailed, but there were a few missynchronizations that made the difference. We wish they had learned from the mistakes of the past,” said Grozavu.

He also stated that he has the whole team at his disposal, although Bouhenna suffered a strong contusion in the friendly match against CSM Paşcani, played on Wednesday.

Here are the other matches of the second round of the second phase of the championship.
