Targeted are counties in Dobrogea, southeastern Moldova, eastern Muntenia, Crisana, locally in Transylvania and Maramureș, in the Western Mountains and in the Eastern Carpathians, where the wind will generally have speeds of 55-65 km/h, and at high altitudes, gusts will exceed 90 km/h.

Later, from 8:00 p.m. until tomorrow, at 10:00 a.m., another yellow wind code will come into effect, targeting Crisana, Maramureș, northwestern Moldova and local Transylvania.

Here, the wind will show intensifications with speeds generally of 55-65 km/h, and in the high area of ​​the Apuseni Mountains and the Eastern Carpathians, gusts will exceed 90-100 km/h.

At the same time, the ANM announces that, until tomorrow evening, at 21.00, there will be temporary wind intensifications in most of the country, with speeds generally of 45-55 km/h, and in the mountains, gusts will exceed 60 -70 km/h.

In the northern half of the country, throughout Thursday and the night of Thursday to Friday (March 28/29), the instability will be temporarily accentuated and there will be showers, in limited areas accompanied by electrical discharges, and especially in the area from the mountain, amounts of water of 15-20 l/m2 will accumulate, favoring the melting of the snow layer.

The weather is warming up in Bucharest

For Bucharest, ANM announces that, from Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until Friday, at 8:00 a.m., the weather will warm up.

The sky will be temporarily cloudy until the afternoon hours and light rains of short duration will be possible, then it will clear. The wind will blow moderately, with intensifications throughout the day (generally speeds of 40-50 km/h). The maximum temperature will be 20-22 degrees, and the minimum will be 6…8 degrees.

From Friday morning, 8:00 a.m., until 9:00 p.m., the weather will continue to warm up. The sky will be variable and the wind will blow generally moderately. The maximum temperature will be 23-24 degrees.
