Traffic blocked on DN2, in the town of Mărășești, Vrancea county. An ethanol tanker, registered in the Republic of Moldova, overturned on Saturday, April 27. Unfortunately, the driver was declared dead, immediately after he was released, informed the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Vrancea.

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that police, fire and ambulance crews were requested to the scene. Road traffic is stopped in both directions, traffic values ​​are increasing.

The tanker loaded with ethanol overturned on the road, leaking substance and fuel.

Initially, the people who were on the scene thought that the driver was injured, but unfortunately, the doctors at the scene of the accident declared the man dead.

“Four crews from ISU Vrancea intervene with two emergency vehicles, an extrication vehicle and a SMURD ambulance, to a road incident on DN2 – E85, in the radius of the city of Mărăşeşti, in which a tank truck, registered in the Republic of Moldova, was involved , loaded with ethanol.
