A man, recently released from prison, was detained by DIICOT prosecutors – Iaşi Territorial Service, after he was caught in the act while having on him the amount of approximately 7 grams of heroin intended for sale.
According to a press release sent by DIICOT on Saturday, the man was detained on Friday, after it was discovered that he had hidden in his clothing the mentioned amount of drugs, which could be divided into at least 220 doses of 0.03 grams, the selling price being of 100 lei/dose.
He is being investigated for the crime of high-risk drug trafficking, and on Saturday the judge of rights and freedoms of the Iaşi Court was notified with the proposal of preventive arrest of the defendant, for a period of 30 days.
The criminal investigation activities were carried out together with policemen from the Iaşi Organized Crime Brigade.
