Sports competitions organized in Alba Iulia, on the occasion of the Day of the Romanian Gendarmerie

Yesterday, March 27, at the Ampoi 2 Sports Base in Alba Iulia, sports competitions were held on the occasion of the Day of the Romanian Gendarmerie at the level of the Alba Gendarmerie. With the support of Ampoiul Associates and IPA Region 2 Alba, a football championship, a backgammon tournament and a foot tennis competition were organized.

Eight teams threw themselves into the fight for the title of champion in football, 16 colleagues registered in the backgammon tournament and 10 in foot tennis. The competition was one in which fair play, team spirit, good humor and the joy of meeting were present throughout the game.

In the football championship, the 1st place went to the Sebeș Gendarmerie Detachment 5 team, the 2nd place to the colleagues from the 4th Câmpeni Gendarmerie Detachment, and the 3rd place was awarded by the 3rd Gendarmerie Aiud Detachment. The best player – Belea Victor, the best goalkeeper – Urea Ștefan Mihăiță and the top scorer of the championship – Morar Robert Iancu were also awarded. At the backgammon tournament, the first place was occupied by Oniche Bogdan Răzvan, the second place by Dăian Gheorghe, and the third place by Aluaș Cristian Ilie. In the foot tennis competition, the first place was occupied by the team formed by Crăciun Adrian and Cîra Vasile, the second place by the team of Paștiu Adrian and Mariș Mircea, and the third place by Jurj Iosif and Măceșanu Răzvan. Mister. Colonel Pașca Tudor Gheorghe, Chief Inspector of the Alba Gendarmerie, handed the winners Cups and diplomas of participation.
