“U” Cluj loses the game against Olten and misses the chance for first place in the play-out
The first chance of the game comes in the 6th minute and belongs to the Oltenians, the ball reaches Blănuță who sends a shot from outside the box, but his execution is weak and the ball is retained without problems by Gertmonas.
The guests’ reply comes two minutes later when Silaghi takes advantage of an error in the opposing defense, managing to enter the box and send a strong shot at the opposing goal, but Gurău intervenes to save and the score remains 0-0.
In the 14th minute the Oltenians create a new opportunity when Bauza sent a cross about 11 meters for Pop who sends the ball with his head towards the goal defended by Gertmonas, and he intervenes decisively and keeps the goal intact.
Opening the score
The opening score came in the 16th minute when FC Universitatea Cluj counter-attacked through Dan Nistor who sent the ball into the right lane for Roguljic, he passed an opponent and then sent a cross that was deflected and reached Robert Silaghi who sent the ball into the goal and scores his first goal in the Superliga, the score becoming 1-0 in favor of the visitors.
Next, Transylvania are the ones who attack and try to score again,
Dan Nistor receives the ball from Roguljic and sends an inspired pass to Valentin Gheorghe who shoots towards the goal from the edge of the box, but the ball is rejected by Gurău on the bar and the score remains 1-0.
The equalizer comes at an unexpected moment as the visitors were in control but Bauza sends a perfect long pass from halfway to Baeten who sends a perfect shot from outside the box into the far corner and beats Gertmonas to set up the score of the first halves: 1-1.
The second half
The first chance of the second stage came in the 56th minute when U Craiova benefited from an attack, the ball reached Bahassa who sent a cross with the inside to the center of the box where Baeten was, he sent a header and scored the goal through which the Oltenians took the advantage and the score becomes 2-1.
The equalizer came in the 74th minute when Roguljic served it perfectly with an inside pass for Frederico Anselmo and he executed it perfectly on the goalkeeper of Olten and brought the score to 2-2.
A minute later, the Oltenians took advantage of a blunder in the opposing defense,
Bauza sends a cross for Blănuța, but he misses the execution and the ball hits Silaghi, the ball then reaches the same Blănuța who sends the ball into the empty goal and the Oltenians take the lead again with a score of 3-2.
Transylvania failed to create any other chances to score and leave without a single point after the match against the U Craiova 1948 team.
