The president of the FCSB Board of Directors, Mihai Stoica (59 years old), made an announcement of great interest for the red-blue team regarding the special match against CFR Cluj, the last played by the champion at the National Arena this season.

FCSB will play in the company of CFR Cluj, on Saturday, May 11, from 20:00, in the penultimate stage of the play-off of the Romanian Superliga.

A sold-out is announced for the duel that will take place at the National Arena. It will be a full-fledged celebration for the entire red-blue crowd in the country’s biggest stadium, but also after the match is over.

Specifically, for this special match, FCSB will wear a special kit. The champions will abandon the traditional colors of red and blue and switch to an all-white kit.

Gigi Becali’s team played only one match in this kit in the current season, in Oradea, against those from Bihor, in the Romanian Cup.

“We will play in a new white kit, yes. It’s a special match and this kit was the third this year, it’s very nice and we were sorry that we could only play once, in Oradea.

It’s not weird. And the greatest team of all time in Romania played in white when they performed. That’s just how it happened to us now. And the champions’ jerseys are white and we thought of playing in it, because it’s very nice,” said Mihai Stoica, at Orange Sport.

FCSB’s last match this season will be away from Rapid’s field, in the final stage of the play-off.
