The list of Mures students who qualified for the national stage of this year’s National Informatics Olympiad was published. According to the Mureș County School Inspectorate, the students who participated in the county stage of the Informatics Olympiad found out the final results and, implicitly, whether or not they will go to the next stage of the competition, i.e. the national one.
Thus, the students of grades V-VIII and IX-XII who ranked first at the county stage will go to the national stage. Participating students are:
- Amélie Carolina Stefan – 5th grade, Mureș National College of Art;
- Vlad-Stefan Popa – 7th grade, “Alexandru Papiu Ilarian” National College, Târgu Mureș;
- Patrick-Daniel Chertes – 7th grade, “Dacia” Mureș Secondary School;
- Sebastian Balan – 8th grade, National College “Unirea” Târgu Mureș;
- Vlad Florian Soare – 9th grade, “Alexandru Papiu Ilarian” National College, Târgu Mureș;
- Alexandru-Augustin Popescu – 10th grade, National College “Unirea” Târgu Mureș;
- Tudor Jacob – 11th grade, National College “Unirea” Târgu Mureș;
- Rares Adrian Campean – twelfth grade, “Alexandru Papiu Ilarian” National College, Târgu Mureș.
The National Phase of the Informatics Olympiad for secondary school students will be held in Iasi, between April 22-26, 2024, while for high school students, the competition will take place in Bucharest, between April 23-28, 2024.
