The mountain area in Cluj county is, on Thursday, under a yellow code of strong wind.
The warning is valid for Thursday, March 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
According to meteorologists, the wind will intensify in Dobrogea, southeastern Moldova, eastern Muntenia, Crisana, locally in Transylvania and Maramureș, in the Apuseni Mountains and in the Eastern Carpathians, where there will be speeds in general of 55…65 km/h, and at high altitudes the gusts will exceed 90 km/h.
Also, the entire county of Cluj will be under a yellow code for strong wind between March 28, 8:00 p.m. and March 29, 10:00 a.m.
During the night from Thursday to Friday (March 28/29) in Crisana, Maramureș, north-west Moldova and locally in Transylvania, the wind will show intensification with speeds generally of 55…65 km/h, and in the high area of the Mountains Apuseni and the Eastern Carpathians, the gusts will exceed 90…100 km/h.
