Electrica will build a photovoltaic park in Vulturu commune. In this regard, the aforementioned company has put out to auction a contract aimed at carrying out network connection and reinforcement works for the connection to the electrical network of the place of production/the place of consumption and production of the Vulturu Photovoltaic Park Green Energy. The contract will be concluded with the Vrancea Branch of the Electrica company and has a value of approximately 3.5 million lei.
Electrica purchased this project from the company Green Energy Consultancy&Investments SRL, whose main activity is the production of energy from photovoltaic sources. Green Energy Consultancy&Investments SRL develops the “Vulturu” photovoltaic project, with an installed capacity of 12 MWp DC (peak power at the level of the panels) and 9.75 MW AC (evacuating power in the network), located in the area of the commune. The estimated price of the transaction is 600,000 euros.
The final price was determined by adjusting the estimated total price according to the authorized production capacity, based on a contractually established calculation formula. The transaction was part of the Electrica Group’s strategy established for the period 2019-2023, in which the expansion of the electricity value chain is also considered, especially in the area of electricity production from renewable sources.
The company informed the capital market on July 6, 2022 about the signing of the sale-purchase agreement of 100% of the shares of the company Green Energy Consultancy&Investments SRL. The Electrica Group provides services to approximately 3.85 million users and has a national coverage area – with organization in three areas for the distribution of electricity: Transylvania North, Transylvania South, Muntenia North, and throughout the country for the supply of electricity and for maintenance and energy services.
