Some time ago, George Nicolescu, the soloist who was born blind, declared that he made peace with himself and his life and even declared that he is no longer afraid of anything at all, not even death.

George Nicolescu, the light music soloist who was born blind, died. The artist who wrote history in Romanian music with the song “Eternitate” died at the age of 74.

SpyNews.ro gives you exclusive details about the artist’s passing away. George Nicolescu died today, after he had been operated on last Friday. The surgery went well, the tumor on his liver was removed.

After the operation, however, he developed bronchopneumonia and was moved to intensive care, where his body eventually gave out.

George Nicolescu was born in 1950, in Ploiesti. Unfortunately, he was born blind. Despite the efforts of American cadres to restore his sight, all was in vain.

The artist’s mother turned to the best doctors of the time, and at the age of four, George Nicolescu underwent brain surgery. The surgery was unsuccessful, and the artist remained blind.

George Nicolescu was married for more than five decades to the woman who made him the father of two children: George Daniel and Luminița, both settled in Spain for years. George Nicolescu’s first hit is “Eternitate”, followed by “Pretend, heart, into a star” and “We still need grass”.
