Woman fined after slapping a student (9 years old) in the courtyard of a school in Satu Mare county

A 45-year-old woman and mother of three children received a criminal fine of 1,200 lei on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. And this after hitting a nine-year-old child in the school premises in Mădăras, the city of Ardud. The reason: the student assaulted by the woman allegedly hit her son. According to PresaSM information, The police was notified by the child’s mother, aged 35, from Baba Novac, regarding the fact that her son was allegedly hit in the face, in the yard of the school where he studies, by a woman, the mother of another child.

From the statement of the abused child, it emerged that while he was in the yard of the Madaras Secondary School, at the end of classes, his sister came to him and informed him that, trying to settle a conflict between two students, she was hit by one of these, breaking a nail. At that moment, the student (9 years old) went to the other student and began to reproach him for hitting his sister, the conflict degenerating, the two becoming aggressive.

Shortly after, the woman entered the educational institution, and at one point, catching him on the side of the school, reproached him for being aggressive with his son, addressing him with insulting words and finally slapping him on the cheek left.

The woman admitted committing the deed she was charged with, stating that she got angry after noticing her son leaning against the fence in front of the school, and next to him was the mother of another student, who informed her that her son was physically assaulted. Following this conversation, the aggressor mother entered the school yard, without the management’s consent, in order to look for the student, whom she later found on the side of the school.

At that moment, the woman warned him for the fact that he had physically assaulted his son and, being scared by the fact that his son was feeling sick, slapped the student’s left cheek.
