Black Dan arrived in Sibiu and climbed the Council Tower for the first time, on the recommendation of some friends. The presenter admired Sibiu from above and the big clock that tells the exact time.
It is not the first time that Dan Negru promotes Sibiu, but until now he has never climbed the Council Tower, the main objective in the Transylvanian city. The presenter praises the view and tells the history of the impressive German clock.
“The Council Tower, one of the most famous monuments in the country, is in the center of Sibiu. I climb the tower for the first time, there are 141 steps to the top floor, but the clock is not on the top floor, it is on the penultimate floor. Its history is old, it dates back to 1500, but this modern illuminated clock was put in place in 1906. It is a mechanism built by a German company in Saxony, a state in eastern Germany. From the top floor you can see Sibiu beautifully. There are clocks on the walls and four windows from where you can see Sibiu from above and especially hear the silence of Sibiu. When you get here don’t bypass the Council Tower,” said Black Dan.
