″In order to maintain the safety of the operation of the energy system, we receive emergency assistance from Romania, Slovakia and Poland″, Ukrainian transmission and system operator Ukrenergo reported.
Ukrainians have received such aid before from the energy systems of neighboring states and following similar past attacks by the Russians.
After the most recent one, launched on the night of Thursday to Friday, interruptions in the electricity supply were imposed in 7 regions of Ukraine, in order to maintain the stability of the system, as damage caused by missiles and drones interrupted the operation of several production units , as well as that of some transmission and distribution lines.
″Repair and restoration works of the affected energy targets will continue 24 hours a day, until the complete restoration of energy supply to all consumers,″ Ukrenergo also stated.
