DIICOT prosecutors seized their impressive collection of cars, but also several properties, including the villa near Bucharest where, according to the authorities, at least 6 young women were allegedly sexually exploited.

Bad news is keeping brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate at bay. In addition to the preventive arrest for 30 days, which the controversial British millionaires of American origin have already contested, the DIICOT prosecutors also took insurance measures against the two suspects: the insurers seized their collection of expensive cars in Pipera, a whose value is estimated at over 5 million dollars.

Among the 11 cars that Organized Crime prosecutors are going to seize is a Bugatti Chiron, valued at three million dollars. But also a Rolls Royce Wraith of 380 thousand dollars, two Ferraris of more than half a million dollars, a McLaren of almost 400 thousand and a Porsche GT Street of more than 300 thousand dollars.

The revelations of a former British Playboy model

It’s the cars that caused Andrew Tate to wage a war of words on social platforms with renowned environmental activist Greta Thunberg. The vehicles will remain in state custody until the case is completed.

DIICOT prosecutors also seized the several hundred thousand euro villa in Pipera, where six young women were allegedly sexually exploited in a video chat studio.

Eugen Vidineac, the lawyer the Tate brothers: ”In the situation where there are civil claims from injured persons that will be expressed within the criminal file and if we will have to deal with a judgment of conviction, it is for the satisfaction of these claims. And on the other hand, if we are dealing with the pronouncement of a sentencing solution for crimes from which illicit income would have been obtained, it would be subject to special confiscation“.

So far, only two of the six young women have become civil parties, but they have not yet said what damages they claim. Others, however, testified in the investigation without considering themselves victims.

Hi all! I’m Carla Howe!“.

Instead, the British tabloid Daily Mail talks about what happened to a former Playboy model, Carla Howe, whom Andrew Tate courted until recently and whom he allegedly invited to Romania. The two met only once, at a boxing gala in Dubai.

Ms Howe told friends she could have been one of the intended victims because the tactic bore a chilling resemblance to how Romanian prosecutors allege Tate and his brother tried to establish a relationship with victims. She told friends: “He wanted me to go to Romania and I was tempted. It makes me think now how horribly it could have gone. I probably would have ended up never leaving the house“.

Meanwhile, Andrew and Tristan Tate are hoping to be freed after their arrest appeal is heard, most likely next week.
