Serious accident in Timisoara, between a motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old and a car

This evening, around 8:30 p.m., the firefighters were requested to intervene to ensure PSI measures and first aid following a road accident in Timișoara, on Popa Șapcă street.

A first intervention vehicle and command and two SMURD crews, one with a doctor, went to the scene of the event, from Detachment 1.

A car and a motorcycle were involved in the road accident, resulting in two victims, those on the motorcycle.
The victims were transported by the medical crews to the “Louis Țurcanu” Children’s Hospital, conscious and cooperative.

What did the police find?

According to IPJ Timiș, a 17-year-old man drove a motorcycle on Martin Luther Street, from Oituz Street to Proclamația Street in Timișoara, and at one point he allegedly collided with a car driven by an elderly woman for 31 years.

As a result of the impact, two victims resulted, namely the 17-year-old young man and a young woman, passenger on the motorcycle, both of whom were transported to the hospital for medical care.

In the case, a criminal file was drawn up under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm.
