Prince Harry will speak at the Invictus Games 10-year anniversary service at St. Paul’s on May 8. It is not yet known whether his wife, Meghan Markle, will also accompany him to the UK.

“The dates and details are being kept very secret, but the 10th anniversary service of the Invictus Games has now been confirmed at St. Paul’s on May 8,” the source said. “Both Harry and Meghan are signed up as guests and a speech has been scheduled, but there is still a question mark over whether Meghan will make an appearance. Her name has been penciled as TBC (to be confirmed)”.

Harry launched the games in March 2014 at London’s Copper Box arena to celebrate wounded servicemen, and is currently in “government-level discussions” to host them again in the UK after the British government launched a £26m bid to host the games in Birmingham in 2027.
Prince Harry and Meghan are counting on this event
A source said the 10-year anniversary service in London is seen as a slight boost for Harry and Meghan to start making their way back to the UK.
“This event is seen as a very important part of Harry and Meghan’s rehabilitation,” the source said. It is seen as an important event that is almost as important as what a working royal would undertake. It is a worthy cause for which Harry is a key ambassador and will be a good starting point for the Sussexes to mend relations with the royal family and the British people at the same time.”
It is not known if Meghan and the children will accompany him
It emerged last month that Harry will return to the UK for the service at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark a decade of the charity’s work and that he very much hoped it would include Meghan and their two children, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.
“The presence of the children is still up in the air as they will only visit the UK if their mother [Meghan] decides to participate,” said the source. “Harry hopes they will join him so they can all enjoy the service and everyone can meet his family while they’re there,” according to express.co.uk.
