The Dutch researcher who predicted the earthquake in Turkey three days before it happened, is sounding the alarm for our country.

Frank Hoogerbeets, the Dutch researcher who predicted the earthquake in Turkey, wrote today on his Twitter account a message aimed at Romania, right after the earthquake in Gorj.

“Some background information: Since 1900, there have been five M6 and four M7 earthquakes in Romania, most of them deep (90-150 km). The last M7 was in 1990 and we are waiting for the next one,” he wrote today on his account of Twitter.

On February 3, 2023, Frank Hoogerbeets wrote on Twitter: “Sooner or later, a magnitude 7.5 earthquake will occur in this region (south-central Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon).”

The message was accompanied by the hashtag deprem , earthquake in Turkish. On his Twitter account, Frank Hoogerbeets recommends himself as a researcher at SSGEOS or the “Institute for Monitoring the Geometry of Celestial Bodies in Relation to Seismic Activity”, based in the Netherlands.
