The station RAC1 announces that FC Barcelona, which was eliminated from the Champions League in the quarter-finals, would have declared four of its players non-transferable this summer: the goalkeeper Ter Stegen, the midfielder Gavi (19 years old) and the two new acquisitions of last summer, Pau Cubarsí (17 years old) and Lamine Yamal (16 years old).
The club stated that it will not consider any offer for these four players, regardless of the amount offered, informs RAC1.
On the other hand, the Catalan club would be open to the sale of other members of the squad, such as Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha and the Frenchman Jules Koundé, whose transfers would allow them to recruit new players.
Midfielder Oriol Romieu also appears to be on the transfer list and could return to Girona, where he played last season, as the club’s coach Míchel Sánchel has admitted. The same is true for Ferran Torres, for whom FC Barcelona would like to find a new club.
Robert Lewandowski’s case is more complicated: while the Pole does not want to leave, according to The Sun, forward Darwin Nunez, who currently plays for Liverpool, has become the Catalan club’s priority to replace him, but Barcelona’s financial difficulties could make that impossible a transfer.
