A young man of only 18 years from Chirales chose a criminal case after, being drunk, he stole a car and caused a road accident. The police found that he did not have a driver’s license for any category of vehicle.

On May 5, following the investigations and research carried out regarding the theft of a car, the police identified an 18-year-old young man from Chirales, suspected of committing the act. In fact, on the evening of May 4, a man from Lechința requested police support, as his car, parked near the building, with the keys in the ignition, was stolen. Following the activities carried out, the policemen of Section 3 of the Lechința Rural Police identified the young man suspected of committing the crime and found the car in question, in the suburbs of the Chirales town, showing damage, as a result of the collision with a metal pole. The 18-year-old was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 0.66 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air, and biological samples were collected, in order to determine the blood alcohol level. Also, during the checks carried out, the police found the fact that he does not have a driving license for any category of vehicles”, it is stated in the press bulletin of the Bistrita-Năsăud County Police Inspectorate.

A criminal case has been drawn up in the case, and the investigations in this case are being continued by the policemen of Section 3 of the Lechința Rural Police, in order to document the facts in all aspects.
