Hallucinatory case in Cluj-Napoca. A patient with a vascular accident was transferred by the SMURD helicopter to Suceava, after being refused by 5 clinics. Practically, in the entire Cluj University Center, no clinic was found where he could be operated on, either due to a lack of staff or equipment, according to the local media.

The 47-year-old patient suffered an acute ischemic stroke. He was transferred by a SMURD helicopter, from the Cluj County Emergency Hospital to the Suceava County Emergency Hospital.

The reason for the transfer was the fact that he could not be operated on in Cluj due to the lack of doctors or kits necessary to extract the clot. For these reasons, the patient was refused by five other Interventional Radiology centers.

It is the first time that such a request to the Suceava hospital comes from a university center. Practically, the entire Cluj University Center was unable to find a place to operate on the patient and it was necessary for him to be transferred to Suceava, realitatea.net cites
