A young man arrived at the hospital after he got behind the wheel drunk. The driver lost control of the steering wheel and ended up with the car in a tree.
“On the morning of April 29 this year, policemen from the Târgu Jiu Municipal Police were alerted by calling 112, about the fact that there was a traffic accident on DJ673A with casualties.
From the first investigations carried out by the police on the spot, it emerged that a 20-year-old man from Drăgoești commune, while driving a car on DJ673A, Strâmba Vulcan, in a curve to the right, would not have adjusted the speed movement, would have lost steering control, left the roadway and collided with a tree.
The driver suffered injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital for medical treatment. The young man was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 0.51 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air,” IPJ Gorj reported.
In the case, a criminal file was drawn up under the aspect of committing the crimes of culpable bodily harm and driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
