A landslide occurred on a street in Cluj-Napoca, affecting one of the lanes, over a length of 20 meters. Car traffic has been restricted, and the area is monitored by crews of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and the Local Police.
According to ISU Cluj, a request was registered regarding a landslide that occurred on Uliului street in the municipality of Cluj-Napoca.
“A crew with a special vehicle from Detachment 2 Cluj-Napoca was assigned to the scene, which found that one of the lanes of the road, for a length of approximately 20 m, was affected. At the same time, the local Police was notified and The Voluntary Service for Emergency Situations within the City Hall of Cluj-Napoca, which assigned crews and specialized personnel to the respective event”, said the cited source.
Also, as a safety measure, car traffic was restricted on Uliului Street, and the ISU Cluj crew remains under surveillance, along with crews from the local Police and staff from SVSU Cluj-Napoca, to assess whether the landslide is progressing.
