As a result of the Russian shelling in Kharkiv, 12 houses were damaged and 3 burned after fires broke out, and a woman and a child were injured, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the regional governor announced.

“There was a fire in three private houses. 12 private residential buildings were previously damaged. Two people were injured: an 11-year-old child and a 72-year-old woman,” announced the governor of Kharkiv region, Oleh Sineguhov.

On Friday night, in the Kaluga region of Russia, several drones attacked the Pershiy Zavod oil refinery, Pravda reports.

According to Russian media, citing the testimonies of local residents, several loud explosions were heard in the Dzerzhinsky district of the Kaluga region. People heard the sounds of several drones flying, after which a fire broke out in the refinery area.

On Friday night, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine again, using 10 Shahed drones, the Ukrainian military announced, stating that the air defense shot down all aerial targets.

“All attack drones were destroyed by the air defense forces and means of Ukraine,” the General Staff said. The drones were destroyed in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

The commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk, reported that in addition to the ten Shaheds launched from the territory of occupied Crimea, the Russians launched two S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region in the direction of the Kharkiv region.

Russian forces attacked the city of Kharkiv on Friday night, May 10, and a residential building was damaged, announced the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, and the governor of the region, Oleh Sineguhov. The Russians also attacked the town of Derhaci in the Kharkiv region.

“According to preliminary data, a private house was damaged as a result of the attack in Kharkiv,” he said.

Russian anti-aircraft units intercepted a drone south of Moscow and there were no injuries or damage from falling debris, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said early Friday, Reuters quoted him as saying.

Sobyanin said the drone, which was heading for Moscow, was shot down in the Podolsk district, just south of the capital.

Emergency crews and specialists went to the scene. The governor of the Briansk region, which borders Ukraine, said anti-aircraft units shot down three Ukrainian drones overnight, with no casualties.

And in the Belgorod region, also on the border, two Ukrainian drones were shot down, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.
