Two people were injured, on Tuesday evening, in a road accident on E 85/DN2, in the area of ​​Pătrăuţi.

According to plt. Radu Gabriel, it is about a road accident between two vehicles, which resulted in two victims, one of them being incarcerated.

The incarcerated person was extracted by the rescue crew and handed over to the medical and paramedical crews. Both victims, conscious and cooperative, were transported to the hospital for further investigations and specialized treatment.

On Tuesday, around 8:45 p.m., a driver parked his Audi A 6 car outside the roadway of DN 2 between Pătrăuţi and Dărmanesti.

When he intended to move on DN 2 towards Pătrăuţi, he did not ensure and did not give priority to a Renault Laguna car that was being driven by a driver from Pătrăuţi towards Darmăneşti.

The military firefighters of the Suceava Detachment intervened at the scene with a rescue vehicle and a SMURD B2 ambulance, with the support of a Suceava SAJ crew.

Road traffic was temporarily blocked in both directions.

As a result of the event, the two vehicles were damaged and the drivers were slightly injured, who were transported by ambulance to SJU Suceava in order to receive specialized medical care.

The drivers were breathalyzed, the results being negative; later, at SJU Suceava, a biological blood sample was collected from each of them in order to determine the blood alcohol level.

The investigations in this case are continued by workers from the Suceava Road Office, under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily injury. (NB)
