On June 9, the people of Oradea, like other Romanians, will be called to express their options in the local elections and, in parallel, in the European Parliament elections.

In this context, Oradea City Hall transmitted the news regarding the relocation of some polling stations, the moving of some streets from one station to another, as well as the rounding of newly established streets in the municipality.

“On Sunday, June 9, Romanian citizens will elect their representatives at the local and county level for the next four years, and in the 2024 European Parliament elections – which will also take place on June 9 – Romania’s representatives in the European Parliament will be voted on. Regarding these elections, the Oradea Municipality City Hall informs citizens with the right to vote that there have been changes regarding the polling station headquarters in the Municipality of Oradea, as well as redistricting of streets”, according to an information from the municipality.

Thus, for example, Section no. 36 will no longer be at Creșa no. 13 on Bumbacului street, but will open at Grădinita with extended hours no. 28 from Onisifor Ghibu alley no. 16. At the same time, Section no. 144 from Imprimeria de Vest on Calea Aradului is moving to Emanuel Theological Baptist High School, in the sports hall (Str. Petre Ispirescu no. 7).

And regarding the zoning of some streets in Oradea, there have been changes. Thus, for example, residents of Crivățului, Cornului and Mălinului streets will no longer vote at ward no. 81, but at section no. 82 from Juhasz Gyula Secondary School (Str. Matei Corvin no. 106 A).

Also, the residents of the newly established streets in the municipality are informed which section they belong to. The streets Izvorul Crișului and Răsărititu belong, thus, to section no. 12, while Ioan Țepelea, Nicolae Tonitza and Miron Rațiu streets are assigned to section no. 28.

Every citizen can find out in which section he will vote in the local and European parliamentary elections on the portal www.registrulelectoral.ro.
