The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued on Sunday a code yellow warning of torrential rain, electrical discharges and hail.
The warning is valid for Sunday, May 5, until 2:30 p.m.
The warning areas are: Huedin, Aghireșu, Baciu, Poieni, Gilău, Florești, Săvădisla, Căpuşu Mare, Călățele, Negreni, Gârbău, Sânpaul, Măguri-Răcătău, Mănăstireni, Petrestii de Jos, Mărgău, Sâncraiu, Săcuieu, Marișel, Ciucea, Rișca, Izvoru Crișului , Ciurila, Tureni, Beliș and Valea Ierii.
According to meteorologists, there will be local showers that will accumulate over 20…25 l/m2, electrical discharges, wind intensifications, small hail.
Until 2:30 p.m., the localities are also under yellow code Turda, Câmpia Turzii, Viișoara, Mihai Viteazu, Iara, Luna, Moldovenești, Călărași, Băișoara, Petreștii de Jos, Săndulești, Ciurila and Beliș.
In these areas, there will be electrical discharges, small hail, showers that will locally accumulate (over) 15…20 l/m2, wind intensifications.
