A resident of Prague posted on Facebook an incident from Vama Veche, where he spent his May 1st holiday. Contacted by the Prahovean Observatory, he stated that he wanted to sound the alarm about the consumption of alcohol and cigarettes by minors left unsupervised.

“100% real incident from Customs!
This is my last evening in Vama Veche from this May 1 stay.
I say I should also go to Yuva and take advantage of the moment.

On the way to the place, I was on a phone call… at which point I was approached by 3 girls asking me to buy from a nearby store… 3 beers for them.
Correct girls!
They had the money ready.
I mean, I didn’t have to honor them.

Please…the beers were for the father of one of them…who, my God, was on the beach.
Pretext!
Although they were polite in their approach, I allowed myself to ask them how old they were.

Now comes the surprise:
The youngest of them was 13 years old and the other two were 15 years old.
Wtf?!
I politely refused them and explained it exactly like this: “if I buy you alcohol, next year we’ll meet again and you’ll make me buy you cigarettes and drugs!”
The reply of one was sincere and spontaneous:
“We have cigarettes!”

In the end… I hurriedly left for Yuva and thinking what “hard parents” I have because at their age I was already sleeping at 10:00 p.m., because I didn’t know about the temptations of Vama Veche and the list can go on!
Until I was 25, I did not drink alcohol.
However… maybe I should have bought them a juice with a straw.
Maybe they understood something…

Aaa…an important aspect is that the person with whom I had that phone call listened to the whole conversation, so I have a witness in case the girls’ parents don’t believe what I told them.
PS: I appreciated that they addressed me with polite personal pronouns!”
