Alarming situation in a Romanian city! A significant part of a street collapsed, right in front of the police headquarters and near some blocks.

The incident took place in Slănic Prahova. Where, on Thursday morning, part of the 23 August street broke. The part of the street that broke is right in front of the police headquarters in the city. And a few tens of meters away are apartment blocks.

It is not yet known exactly what led to this situation. But the local authorities went on the alert. And the locals who saw, in the morning, what happened to the road are worried. Moreover, the evacuation of people from that area is taken into account.

Prefect: We’ll see if an evacuation will be required

Measures will be taken after the specialists make findings on the spot.
The prefect of Prahova county explained, in a telephone intervention to Antena 3, that he is on his way to Slănic and will arrive at the scene. According to him, the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations – ISU and the police have demarcated the respective area.
