The gas from the United States of America, delivered through the Greek port of Alexandroupolis, was procured at a secret price. Acting General Director of Energocom, Victor Bînzari, told Unimedia that the price is confidential.
“I can’t tell you what the price is, it’s confidential and we can’t divulge it. It is a trade secret. The partners don’t allow us to divulge it, but it is a market one”, the Acting General Director of Energocom, Victor Bînzari, told Unimedia, transmits Stiri.md
Previously, the Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov, stated that the price will be around 30 or so euros for one MWh.
“Right now I can’t say at what price because it’s not definitively confirmed, but we’ll take it below DTF. It will be around 30 or so euros for a MWh”, he declared.
In the first two days of April, consumers from the Republic of Moldova (the right bank of the Dniester River) will use gas from the United States of America, delivered through the Greek port of Alexandroupolis, in their households.
It is about a test volume with liquefied natural gas (LNG), imported by the joint-stock company Energocom from the Greek company DEPA and sold to Moldovagaz.
The United States of America congratulated the Government of the Republic of Moldova and Energocom for the first purchase of gas from the USA.
