Railway accident in Jucu! 30 passengers are on the train involved in the incident

Firefighters from Detachment 1 Cluj-Napoca were requested a few moments ago to intervene in a railway accident that happened in the area of ​​Jucu.

A truck and a train were involved in the accident, but luckily there were no casualties.

“Also, there are about 30 passengers on the train, but from the data received so far, none of them require medical attention.

A medium-capacity water and foam truck is moving to the site to secure the area.

The medical part will be provided by a crew of the County Ambulance Service”, transmits ISU Cluj.

“Today, April 2, at around 3:15 p.m., a railway accident was registered between the towns of Jucu and Bonțida, at the level crossing with the railway equipped with acoustic and light signals, involving a truck and a Regio train, which was traveling on the Cluj-Oradea.

As a result of the collision, only material damage resulted, and the railway traffic was stopped in both directions for the intervention of the crews”, according to IPJ Cluj.

On-site investigations are still being carried out.
