The teachers from Dobrești commune, Bihor county, made a donation campaign so that their student, Sena Moldovan (right photo), could participate in the Romanian language national olympiad, and she returned with first place, they note The Bihorean.

“Sena is not only proficient in the Romanian language, she is good at teaching in general, the first in her class. In fact, all the children who have been to the Olympics are good in all subjects,” said School Inspector Ionel Cordovan (center photo).

He confessed that he did not expect the Bihorean delegation to perform so well. “These are very good results, personally I did not expect us to rank so well as a county. The biggest surprise is the 7th grade girl, because she is a child from a modest family, with parents with quite limited financial means,” Cordovan said.

At the end of last week, the 23rd edition of the National Romani Language Olympiad was held in Buzău, and of the six qualified students from Bihor, five returned home with prizes, including two first prizes.
