AUR Cluj launched its candidate for Cluj-Napoca City Hall and the European Parliament elections

--

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) organized a press conference on Friday, March 29, at the AUR Regional Headquarters in Cipariu Square no. 9 Cluj-Napoca.

Presenters at the event were Călin Cozma – AUR candidate for Cluj-Napoca City Hall and Cristina Dumitrescu – secretary of the AUR Jury of Honor and Arbitration, candidate for the European Parliament elections.

Among the topics discussed during the conference were the departure of the mayor Emil Boc from Cluj-Napoca City Hall, local issues, the ongoing constitutional coup in Romania, as well as censorship on social networks.

The Cluj lawyer Geanina Cuc, the president of the AUR Cluj women’s organization, harshly attacked the mayor Emil Boc, whom she showed that he has no merit in the development of the city on Someș.

“Cluj unfolded not because of Boc, but because of us, the people of Cluj, the mayor has no merit”the lawyer pointed out.

The AUR deputy, Alin Coleșa, accused the fact that there is no tolerance in Cluj towards parties of their kind, given that the AUR tent in front of the party headquarters was vandalized, again.

“Cluj should be a city of tolerance, of multiculturalism, but it is not like that. It’s a regressive city, not a progressive one, as they say”says deputy Alin Coleșa.

Alin Coleșa also launched a call to participate in the Pro-life Movement event, which will take place in a few days, showing that the party he represents is not an extremist and intolerant one, but one that aims to be a support for society, for pregnant women.
