A drone crashed in the Insula Mari area of ​​Braila, 12 kilometers away from the ferry crossing. The images were captured by locals and posted on the internet.

It all happened shortly before midnight. People got scared out of their houses when they heard the loud bang and urgently called 112. Soon the whole area was surrounded by policemen and investigators who cordoned off the entire perimeter. Fortunately no one was injured.

Russian missile attack in Ukraine

Russian forces attacked infrastructure in the early hours of Friday in Kamianske district, near the city of Dnipro in central Ukraine, and at least one person was injured, the regional governor said. “The enemy attacked crucial infrastructure sites in the region,” Governor Serhi Lisak wrote on Telegram.

“The main targets of the enemy are our people and vital places of the population,” said Lysak, who did not clarify the form of the attack, but Telegram commentators pointed to the use of rockets and explosions reported in the area. Reuters reports that it could not verify the veracity of the news.

A blogger from outside the city of Kamianske, a port city of over 200,000 with a hydroelectric plant just upstream from the city of Dnipro, reported an explosion 4 meters deep and 10 meters wide in the district.
