The start of the messages in the online environment was given by the representatives of the institution themselves, in a message posted on Facebook 10 hours ago.
Not as frothy as usual, the message shows that the institution’s mission is national security, and it has been for 34 years.
Later, the messages began to flow. “We only know one thing about them… today is their birthday! Happy birthday, SRI – Romanian Intelligence Service!”the representatives sent on Tuesday of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU)in a message on Facebook.
The representatives also sent an extremely suggestive message Romanian Gendarmerie. “When the cat isn’t home, don’t try to play on the table”is the implicit message also made on Facebook.
On the same note, Romanian police wrote, in a message posted online: “Some of them even wear uniforms. Life is full of surprises”.

The Romanian Intelligence Service came into being on March 26, 1990, being one of the Romanian secret services, along with the Foreign Intelligence Service (SIE).
SRI is an authority whose object of activity is the collection and exploitation of information exclusively on the territory of Romania.
On July 3, 2023, Eduard Hellvig resigned from the management of the institution he had been at the head of since March 2, 2015, at the proposal of President Klaus Iohannis.
